Stuart is an experienced senior leader with several years’ experience within the Australian financial services and professional services industry, with significant expertise across commercial leadership, reporting and insight generation, digital and process design and strategy. 

As the Bridge Partner leading Performance and Reporting Stuart has played an integral role in partnerships in establishing the performance insights to improve partner outcomes. Stuart’s expertise extends into the broader industry sectors by able to understand client pathways through data insights in addition understand key commercial levers across the value chain.

Prior to The Bridge Stuart held a number of key roles across some of Australia’s leading insurance brands such as Coles Insurance, SGIO, SGIC and Apia where he has specialised in commercial and profit and loss management, business planning, process reengineering, operational delivery, technology and project management and strategy design.

Stuart’s career to date has led commercial strategies for some of Australia’s leading insurance brands. He has led a number of commercial transformation programs with a turnaround of $50m+ and which involved leading new pricing strategies and expense management control to improve long term performance issues. Stuart has also had experience in pricing optimisation and technical pricing start-up.

Stuart is a leader who thrives on working with businesses who are looking to transform, grow or optimise their profitability and processes. 


A founding partner of The Bridge International, Stuart is an expert across tn financial and operational analysis and reporting, personal insurance, pricing, claims and transformation programs.


Stuart is curious to understand the real drivers of business performance through data insights.  He will do what it takes to identify the problem and find the solution. He has a knack of being able to clearly articulate these findings at every level of the organisation and is skilled in designing effective and relevant reporting.


Stuart doesn’t speak in jargon or over-complicate things, but provides credible advice which is meaningful to the industry and his clients. His approach is more collaborative and partnership based than your traditional consultant, with a drive to be part of the solution not just identifying the problems and pointing fingers. 


He always finds ways to engage with clients and build relationships and trust which extends beyond the piece of work.


Stuart can work at any level; with analysts to the c-suite. He can simplify the most complex, big data sources to discover the critical insights to solve key business challenges


Stuart has a unique talent of being able to assess multiple sources of data to paint a picture and synthesise results. With several years working across both short and long tail insurance businesses, he is a commercial leader who has successfully run large P&L’s and worked right across the business.


Stuart generates insights which leads to commercial strategy, improvement in P&L performance which translates to operational outcomes and across The Bridge Triple Play philosophy - culture, customer and commercials.
